Working in sculpture, drawing, and video, Brand has had solo shows at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT; Projective City with Gallerie de Roussan, Paris France; Hosfelt Gallery New York and San Francisco; Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts, Toronto. Forthcoming and recent group exhibitions, include Friche la Belle de Mai, Marseille France; Heckscher Museum NY; Flinn Gallery Greenwich CT; Eric Firestone Gallery, East Hampton NY; the Bronx Museum of the Arts, NY. Brand was recently awarded a Canada Council for the Arts Grant and a Connecticut Office for the Arts Grant. He has received critical attention from The New York Times, ARTnews, The New Yorker as well as numerous print and online publications. He received a MFA from Yale University in 2007.
